Since Hazeldale will not be hosting the Santa Breakfast this year, families still have a chance to meet Santa at the Tree Lighting Celebration in the parking lot of Bales Thriftway on Saturday, November 25, 2017 between 6 and 8 p.m. Kids (and adults too!) have the opportunity to take a photo with Santa (using their own cellphone or camera).
In addition, Hazeldale’s choir will be one of the performing entertainment groups, so go out and support our choir! Plus, there will be hot cocoa and cookies, face painting, raffles, local vendors, guest speakers, and the Washington County Mounted Posse! The first 150 kids present receive a prize… plus, there are FOUR grand prizes!
The Santa Breakfast is coming up this Saturday, December 3, and we are still in need of some additional volunteers to help out, particularly with set-up and clean-up.
Set-up will take place after school on Friday, December 2, at 3:15pm. Clean up will be needed Saturday, December 3, immediately after the event.
Just a reminder that the breakfast will take place this year at Hazeldale, as Cooper Mountain Presbyterian, who usually hosts the event, is still under renovation.
Saturday, December 3rd
9 am – 11 am
Hazeldale Elementary Cafeteria (as Cooper Mountain Presbyterian is still under repair)
To volunteer, please sign up by emailing email@example.com. We especially need help cleaning up after the event!
The Santa Breakfast is a PTO & Cooper Mountain Presbyterian-sponsored Community Event & Fundraiser! Cooper Mountain is located directly across the street from Hazeldale Elementary. As they can’t access their building, the event will be held in our cafeteria this year.
Mark your calendar:! On Saturday, December 3rd, Santa will be making a special visit to Hazeldale students and their families. The fun starts at 9am and Santa will be hungry, so there will be pancakes, hot cocoa, juice and coffee for everyone. Bring your Christmas lists and have your picture taken with the big guy. Look for the flyer coming home soon for more details!
