Thank you to everyone who made this year’s Santa Breakfast another success. One of Hazeldale’s favorite traditions, it was great to so many of our families come together and enjoy each other’s company. Thank you to our volunteers, Cooper Mountain Presbyterian, Ms. Putnam and our Hawks Singers, our local McDonald’s for the generous food donations, and of course, big thanks to Santa! We wish everyone a Happy Holiday Season!
Hazeldale is in the news! Here’s a great write up by the Beaverton Valley Times about our first ever Family Game Night. All families that participated received a free game to take home. Participation was so high that we ran out of games, but they were ordered for those who left without one.
To all of our event sponsors, raffle item donors, volunteers, Hazeldale families, friends, and community members,
we thank you!
The Hazeldale PTO Board is still in awe of the amazing turn out at our first ever Spring Raffle and Ice Cream Social. We hope everyone had fun, won some great prizes, enjoyed spending time with loved ones, and made some new friends. It is safe to say that the event was a success!
Special thanks to the mastermind behind this new venture, Rachel Coleman, for all of your countless hours of work behind the scenes to ensure that the Spring Raffle and Ice Cream Social was a success. You’re family can have you back now. 🙂

In case you haven’t heard yet, the Hazeldale PTO is planning our first every Spring Raffle & Ice Cream Social. We are expecting a great turnout, and have received so many generous donations for the raffle. If you have experience with running a raffle or have time to help with classroom art projects, please contact us. We also have received support from our local community and are very excited to welcome all to this fun event.
We are having a See’s Candies Valentine’s Day Fundraiser, so give your special someone a little reminder of how sweet you think they are and support Hazeldale! Orders are due by January 22nd with cash or checks made payable to Hazeldale PTO. All proceeds go to our school to help enhance our student’s learning experience. Thank you!
Once again, we’ve partnered with Cooper Mountain Presbyterian to host our Annual Santa Breakfast on Saturday, December 6th. This is easily a family and community favorite event. The fun starts at 9 am with a free pancake breakfast being served until 11 am. All are welcome to come enjoy pancakes, sausages, juice, coffee, and hot chocolate provided by your Hazeldale PTO and our superstar volunteers.
Kids and “grown up kids” can visit with Santa and have their pictures taken until 12 pm. Thank you to Aloha Photography for partnering with us again and donating their time to capture these wonderful memories. Kids can also write a wish list depending on whether they’ve been naughty or nice.
Cooper Mountain will also be collecting canned food to benefit the Oregon Food Bank. Please consider bringing a canned food donation. We’ll also get our first opportunity to hear our Hazeldale Hawk Singers (the 4th & 5th grade choir) who’ve been working hard to bring us some holiday cheer. Admission is free and breakfast is free. Donations are always appreciated. See you there!
Hazeldale’s Annual Harvest Festival is one of our favorite family and community events. Everyone is encouraged to dress up in their Halloween costumes to come play games, win prizes, enjoy delicious pizza, get their faces painted, and have fun at our photo booth. We can confidently say that this year was a blast! Thank you to our volunteers who worked so hard to ensure everyone had a great time. This event couldn’t have happened without the event mastermind, Kris. You are awesome. Can’t wait to see what you come up with next year!
We hope you can join us for tonight’s PTO General Meeting at 6 p.m. in the library. What happens at PTO meetings? We share ideas, discuss issues, make decisions, and build community. We will start the planning phase of our Annual Harvest Festival, so if you’re interested in being part of the planning committee, consider attending this meeting. All are welcome. See you there!
